On our little island variety exists but only if you want to drive to every shop between the northern and southern tips. Washing soda is in many homemade cleaning recipes and serves a family well to have in stock but we do not have it here. So when in need, make it yourself!
I followed simple instructions to spread the baking soda out on a baking sheet. Bake 30min at 400degrees and voila, chemical change to washing soda!
